The Canyon Lake is 30 mi East of Phoenix, Arizona

Past Apache Junction and Superstitious Mountain, at Tortilla Flats

01 Corinne's Beach- normally sand - now a few inches under - quicksand is about 20 feet out from the beach

02 Corinne found watercress for her salad

03 My kayak - it's the little blue one!

  

04 Corinne on Dolly - the Paddle Wheel Boat takes a 6 mile trip twice a day

05 Ramming Speed - she likes running into things like a bumper car

06 Rough climbing on that mountain - watch for large wolves, cougars, bears, tarantulas, and rattlers

07 Saguaros, these things are commonly 4 feet wide and 30 feet tall

08 Sunset on 2000 foot cliffs

09 Only a kayak or canoe can get here

10 Blue rocks from Turquoise or Fluoride

 

11 A mountain lion cave straight ahead

12 A narrow pass - only two feet wide
