Fab-6 Chandler Arizona 1997-2000

Fab-6 is the sixth fabricating plant that Intel Corporation built for manufacturing microchips. This was the era of 8088 to 386 processors on 6 inch wafers. Newer factories were built for 8 inch wafers, where I worked in Fab-12 in Ocotilla south of Chandler 2000-2002. Then I went to Fab-23 in Colorado, making memory chips and processors.

Cameras were not allowed in the factory except for authorized special occasions.

The Fab-6 photos were shot in 1999 in Chandler Arizona
